A series of Zoom events designed for Contributors to the Manitos Community Memory Archive, including but not
limited to Site Partners and Community Archvists. Each event will be a dialogue between Manitos Archive
Omeka-S Specialist and Administrator, Amy Winter, and a guest Archive Contributor. They will discuss metadata
and prep issues inspired by the Contributor’s archival metadata, issues universal to all Contributors. Each
discussion will be followed by a Q&A with Amy Winter for all attendees.
For this session, Amy Winter and Katie Gray, Head of Archives for New Mexico Highlands University’s Donnelly Library
and Manitos Project Archival Consultant, will discuss best practices surrounding Permissions, Use Transparency and
other issues of Digital Rights and Consent, in the context of the Manitos Archive.
